ABOUT

Fraser Coast Malayalee Association (FCMA)
The Fraser Coast Malayalee Association (FCMA) was officially founded in 2018 by our first president, Uncle Crispin, with a heartfelt vision — to unite Malayalee families living far from Kerala and to bring the richness of our culture to Hervey Bay, Australia.
What began as a small group of 30 families has now flourished into a vibrant, growing community of over 100 families — and counting.
At FCMA, our mission has always been to foster a strong sense of belonging for Malayalees in the Fraser Coast region. We provide a space where our shared traditions, values, and heritage can thrive — and where every generation feels connected, included, and proud.
Over the years, FCMA has become deeply embedded in the local fabric. Our members actively contribute across a range of sectors — from healthcare and caregiving to business, real estate, and entrepreneurship — making meaningful contributions to the life and growth of our region.
We celebrate both our cultural roots and the diverse community we are part of. From traditional festivals like Onam and Vishu, to inclusive events like Christmas carols, Eid celebrations, and cultural showcases, FCMA events are about connection, celebration, and mutual respect among all communities in the Fraser Coast.
Our commitment also extends beyond celebration. FCMA proudly participates in local service initiatives, such as blood donation drives and charity support, reflecting our core values of compassion, generosity, and community spirit.
As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to preserving and sharing our cultural heritage — especially with the next generation. Together, we are building a legacy that blends tradition with togetherness, and pride with purpose.
FCMA – Growing Stronger Every Year, together.
